Visions of chaos

Chaos theory is one of the most significant scientific contributions in the last decades. This mathematically beautiful theory can provide remarkable pictures of orbits, attractors, bifurcations and other mathematical objects.

At this conference, we plan an open-door session with posters of remarkable pictures obtained by the iteration of maps. Notably, a broad audience has in mind famous pictures such as the Lorenz attractor; the Julia sets of polynomial complex maps, and the logistic map's bifurcation diagram. For that, we call for collaboration of the scientific community. If you know of some other beautiful dynamic objects, please write us with information to the conference email pode25@upct.es with the details: equations, references, etc.

We will make a poster with the model for the exhibition which will take place on Friday the 30th in the afternoon. Each poster will acknowledge the person who showed us the model, which does not need to be original.

We hope you can help us disseminate our mathematical branch among non-scholar people.
